The unit S-R100 is part of the family of Rosselli sliding protective device saw benches. The unit S-R100 has been designed for those customers looking for solidity, longevity and safety at a entry low price.
We also have a version with a circular widia blade. (S-R100W).
This machine consists in a working table having the following dimensions 860 × 360 mm (it is called “semi-retractable table” by Rosselli) assembled with resistant bearing at high pressures and for continuous movements The steel blade in use has a Ø 550 mm compliant the EEC regulations and it is protected by a cover plate.
Even all the moving parts are provided with the same protection. The saw bench S-R100 is powered by a drive shaft and is characterized by a side three-points connection (the tractor will stay on the right side of the operator) assuring the maximal stability of the machine during the cutting operations.
To use this saw bench is extremely easy: it will be enough to place the trunk on the working table, lock it by the jaw, i.e. the lock system, push the carriage and it’s done.
That is the way how Rosselli company wants to show customers how easy is to cut wood with our machines.
The S-R100 product is produced and manufactured in our factories in Italy respecting all CE standards.
Circular saw S-R100 has an emergency brake on the circular saw blade. By activating the lever, a block stops the blade pulley and the belts are loosened. This brakes the cutting disc in just a few seconds. This cutting-edge feature ensures fast and reliable braking , giving you greater peace of mind while working. Key to unscrew the cutting disc
This key is used to unscrew and screw the cutting disc for replacement after wear.
Transmission belts
The saw is equipped with 3 special belts to transmit a uniform motion to the cutting of the wood. The transmission belts are designed with high quality materials to guarantee optimal performance over time, ensuring efficient and stable operation of the circular saw.

Emergency brake
In case of emergency we have installed a lever on the circular saw to brake the circular blade in less than 8 seconds. A clutch system stops the motion of the cutting disc.
Sliding Table Locking System
With this hook and a cotter pin you can lock the table to prevent it from sliding when you move the circular saw or to keep it at rest.
Wood locking system
With this wood locking system you can saw wood in complete safety. Obtaining a fast and perpendicular cut.
Saw bench protection with holes
We have installed this large protection to make the circular saw even safer. Making it easy and practical to work at the same time. The user will be able to see the sawing action of the wood through the holes in the sheet metal.
Sawdust drain
Special sawdust outlet, designed to expel wood chips without endangering your hands. The special attachment is designed to attach a sawdust vacuum cleaner.
Side table for saw bench
On the left side we have an extension table. This extension is used to be able to support long logs. This is already screwed on at the time of delivery.
Sheet metal thickness
For a sturdy and stable structure we use sheet metal of adequate thickness. We have done tests and a sealing study to make the saw safer and more durable over time.
Special hook to support the cardan shaft
The hook placed above the three points of the circular saw is used to support the cardan transmission when the saw is stalled/stopped. Useful so the cardan is never resting on the ground.

MACHINERY DIRECTIVE 2006/42/EC
The Rosselli company has always paid great attention to security issues, all our machines fully respect the directives imposed by the European Community. For this reason every Saw Bench follows the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC: Rosselli machines are equipped with all devices that allow the operator to work in a condition of complete security.
BRAKING SYSTEM - EMERGENCY
Following the MACHINERY DIRECTIVE 2006/42/EC, this machine is equipped with a stop security device we call “DISINNESTO”. This is composed of an emergency lever that the operator can use in dangerous situations: the blade will come to rest within 10 seconds although the driveshaft will continue to turn.
LOCK DEVICE
This device stops the log and guarantees a sharp and defined cut; both hands are needed to operate the machine in order to avoid any contact with the blade. This system offers an efficient and effective solution to facilitate operators in woodworking. Ultimately, Blockwood represents an excellent compromise between speed, comfort and economy in the wood construction sector.
